TOF 2013

Alhamdulillah, even though it takes me i and half moths to write this, I'm truly grateful and blessed to have spent time with Sheikh Eyyad, one of The Mu'Adhins of Masjid Nabawi in Medina & Sheikh Baker Geith, The Imam of Masjid Al-Aqsa in Jerusalem....and the other sheikh as well. It was a fantastic weekend with the sisters and friends. Alhamdulillah.

One of the special moments was with Sh. Tawfique Chowdhury, (He is a practicing Md Doc and a Sheikh MashaAllah)  - actions which may guarantee you Jannah!

1. Put a smile on your Muslim brother-it might guarantee you Jannah
2. Hajj Mabrur & Umrah Mabrur
3. For Women, - To listen to your husband, for he is your key to Jannah

Rasulullah [Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam] said:  "The woman who reads her five prayers,  fasts in the month of Ramadhan, protects her chastity and is obedient to her I husband; such a woman will enter into Jannah from any of the doors she wishes to enter from’’
"If a woman dies while her husband was pleased with her, she will enter into Paradise." (Ibn Majah and Tirmidhi)

4. Protect your tongue and your private part

Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 8.481, Narrated Sahl bin Sad Rasullullah SAW said, "Whoever can guarantee (the chastity of) what is between his two jaw-bones and what is between his two legs (i.e. his tongue and his private parts), I guarantee Paradise for him."

5. Recite Subhanallahi Wabihamdihi

Abu Hurairah (RadhiAllahu 'anhu) reported, the Messenger of Allah said,

"He who recites 100 Times in the morning and in the evening the statement:

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ
`Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi
(Allah is free from imperfection and I begin with praising Him)
will not be surpassed on the Day of Resurrection by anyone with better deeds than one who utters the same words or utters more of these words.''[Sahih Muslim - Book 35, Hadith 6509]

   6. Actions that are done with Ikhlas.
- Zikr of Allah
- Recite ayatul kursi after solah
- 3 Qul
- Recite Al Mulk before sleep

7.  Having faith in Allah and His Messenger

“Rodhi tubillah hi Robbah Wa bil islamidina, Wa bi muhammadinnabiyya warasulla”

And it feels good to meet and greet some familiar faces.
Barakallahu feekum.

May Allah bless and give us full strength to follow the wisdom and the Sunnah of our last Prophet s.a.w.

InshaAllah.
